Cut and remove leaking schedule 40 90 Clean 2inch pvc pipe Install new 2inch schedule 80 90 Test for leaks Water will be shutoff for approximately 3 hours Schedule 80 is much more durable than schedule 40 pipe

Checked water heater for any problems, none can be found at this time. Checked the concern of the utility room sink water does get hot but does take an excessive amount of time. If it becomes major problem a recirculation pump would solve that that problem.
